Delighted to welcome STAN the BAND
for the first time to this year's 18th Callander Jazz & Blues Festival
Oct 3rd-6th. STAN the BAND is a legendary guitar 4 piece from Newcastle upon Tyne playing good-time boogie-rock that feels like it's one part shipyard sweat, one part bar-room philosophy and one part melodic know-how. The band have released several albums and have supported a diverse range of artists from Brian May to Big Country, The Christians and The Zombies. The band
are currently promoting their new album Love. Catch them at this year's festival for a fun gig.
Delighted to announce The Terraplanes Blues Band
are heading to the Callander Jazz & Blues Festival
for their first gigs in Scotland on Oct 3rd & 4th. Winners of the Emerging Blues Act Of The Year in 2023 at the national UK Blues Awards, The Terraplanes are a musical group from Bristol with a fine blend of finger pickin' country blues and high energy raw r'n'b. Delivering howling blues harmonica and screaming slide guitar, The Terraplanes are a rhythm & blues band that take
you back to the golden era of the blues. "These boys are phenomenal, a joy to watch!" - Blues Matters Magazine. A must see at this year's Callander Jazz & Blues Festival
Oct 3rd-6th.
Delighted to announce London-based alto saxophonist Sam Braysher

The Sam Braysher trio at Callander will include two of Scotland’s finest musicians, double bassist Andrew Robb and drummer Alyn Cosker. Andrew was awarded 1st
Prize at the European Society of Bassists Jazz Competition in 2018 and is a former BBC Radio Scotland Young Jazz Musician of the Year. Alyn is a band leader and composer in his own right and the resident drummer for the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra. Callander Jazz & Blues Festival
